The Villa Resort Palm Springs V Lounge Palm Springs Butterfield's Restaurant

The Villa Resorts Casitas

Recently we remodeled our casitas to the specifications of noted local designer, Hugh Gaspar. The idea was to preserve the charm of the 1950's bungalows that Elizabeth Arden created for the wealthy patrons of her trendsetting Beauty Farm, while bringing our accomodations up to the highest expectations of today's Villa Resort guest.

That's why each colorful casita is equipped with custom-designed furnishings, including armoires containing large-screen TV's and videotape and DVD/VCR players, wonderfully restful Bellagio beds, spacious storage spaces and closets, desks, comfortable modern chairs, clock radios, direct-dial telephones, ironing boards and irons, in-room safes and original abstract expressionist artwork.

Golden floor-to-ceiling shutters permit you to perfectly control the light or, should you wish, view the Villa pool and gardens and the glorious San Jacinto or Santa Rosa mountains. Awaiting you in your casita are waffle cotton robes as well as soft pastel colored pool towels, useful for your private flower-bedecked patio replete with bistro-style chairs and umbrella table for sunworshipping or entertaining.

In your unique bathroom, find a skylight highlighting a boulder imported from the mountains above Palm Springs. And that's only an inkling of what to expect.

THE VILLA IS CLOSED.
