Meet the committed team members at The Villa Resort.

Bob Grinchuk and Reuel Olin, proprietors. Partners in business and life for over 30 years, Bob and Reuel met at a faculty tea when they were academics back east (both have Ph.D.'s). In San Diego they own and manage apartment communities (for 20 years) and a wine bar called The Wine Lover (for the past six years). They have received individually and jointly numerous awards for their leadership roles on many boards and commissions as well as their philanthropy. They acquired The Villa Resort in October, 2003 "as a kind of thirtieth anniversary present to ourselves" and immediately began a renovation program with the intention of creating "the finest full-service gay resort in the world."

Tony Nemger, General Manager. Tony comes to The Villa from the Hilton Phoenix East/Mesa where he was Director of Banquets for the past five years. Prior to that for nine years he held a similar position at the Sheraton San Marcos Golf and Conference Resort. Tony is currently involved in every aspect of the grand re-opening of the completed Villa in the Summer of 2005.

Angel Toscano, Chef. Our head chef has worked at some of the top restaurants in Palm springs, and by all accounts has created for The Villa not only the tastiest brunch dishes (for one of the most popular Palm Springs brunches) around but has them talking about his cuisine for Butterfield's Restaurant at The Villa.
